I stopped going out in Bedford a while ago as it had started to go downhill a bit. However I popped into town a few weeks ago and ended up in the Cross Keys, it's clearly had a refurb as looks more modern and nicely decked out, ended up having the best night! Staff were friendly, even the door staff!!! We were made to feel really welcome which is a rarity in bars these days and they had an awesome jukebox! Have been back a couple of times since as they've had live music and DJs playing, even popped in for lunch the other day and the food was really good (and cheap!) Would deffo recommend this pub to anyone really. It's a good laugh and a good night out but more importantly the staff are nice and make you feel welcome, see you there!
