First Indian restaurant in Bedford (about 40+ years Ii think!) and still the BEST! Food is always superb - they will tailor spiciness to your request. service is impeccable - all the staff are friendly, attentive but not over the top and remember their regulars, even if its been awhile! Restaurant is comfortable - the booths are the best place to sit. The outside eating area is a brilliant concept and well designed. Takeaway service is fast, efficient, always hot & (apart from e.g. sizzlers which don't travel well from anywhere whoever you are),the food is just as good. Can't rate it enough. I wasn't a fan of Indian food until I was introduced to the New Bombay, now I'm addicted!
