I was a frequent visitor to the Rose because my friends liked it. On Saturday evening service at the bar was very slow, and staff openly admitted to me that they were serving friends first rather than the order of those waiting. As I was about to be served a customer started shouting at me and was invading my personal space. I held up my hands to keep him away, and a manager said I was being aggressive and had me removed. Again staff openly admitted that the reason nothing was being done was because they were friends with the other customer. I have never been to an establishment before where I have been made to feel so unsafe by a customer. I will never again go to a place where managers support that kind of behaviour because they are friends with abusive customers.
